I am due March 6, 2009. My Ultrasound isn't until October 23rd, but i feel in my heart that it is a girl.
I am thinking about naming my little girl Lili Blossom. What do you think?
I love that name! I asked about the exact name combo. a long time ago on this place as well and got negative responses though. But I adore the name combo, and I say go with it!!!!

Reply:Lily should be spelled Lily. Lili looks incomplete and very awkward.
The name Lily is lovely and would work beautifully on any age girl, but Lili Blossom has "I'm a teenage mother" written all over it. It's immature and childish. Your child will grow into an adult one day and adults aren't named Lili Blossom.

Reply:First off, congratulations on having a baby. It's a beautiful name, but the Blossom part - well reminds me of that bad 80's/90's show Blossom. Also, I would spell it like Lilly - just like the flower. There will otherwise be those substitute teachers who will call her 'Lie -Lie' on accident.
Reply:That is a very cute name for a little girl, however she will be a thirty year old woman one day and it will be hard to be taken seriously with a name like that, I would keep the lily and try to find a more serious middle name, like after a family member maybe.
Reply:It's cute in theory, but it may be a little too much. Over the next week, try introducing yourself to new people as Lili Blossom and see what kind of reaction you get. That'll give you a better idea of what kind of response that name will receive.

Abigail is a very pretty name and is pretty popular. Two of my friends have daughters named Abigail.
I like Sydney also.

Hello. My friend is starting a real estate company soon and we have decided that we are going to use red, white and blue (and the U.S. flag) as a logo and colors. She is very proud, honest, and respectful of the country and the military. What about naming your dog something more original like...Teiko (tea-co) or Locklan. Just a suggestion!
