Names like Shantelle and Latrell and Ray Ray won't get you very far life...why do blacks do this to themselves?
Why to black parents make it harder for their kids by naming them with black-sounding names?
i think the colour of their skin would show more about their ethnicity then their name. if you call a black girl elizabeth it doesnt mean she turns white!
Reply:I don't see why it would make their lives harder. Only racist people would have a problem with an ethnic sounding name.
My white son has a Hawaiian name, never stopped him.
Reply:Jethro, is that you ?
Reply:Well Billy Bob Bubba I think that goes on the white side as well. Billy Sue Tommy Ray come on dont you have something else to do with your time really. Black people name their children names that they love and give them a sense of uniqueness and so do all the stars if you look and its the white people that do it. Come on wake up ..this is lame..Johnboy.
Reply:So than we should name them Becky Sue and Mary Elizabeth so that you can be more comfortable with it? Instead of getting on their case for what they decide to name their child (which is whatever the heck they want because that is their right) why don't you try being a little more open-minded?
Reply:its not the names that is the problem but the people who hear the names and make negative assumptions about them

Naming Cereal After The Sport Of Swimming?
I need a fun, sort of cute, name for a cereal based on the sport of swimming.
I really don't want to use anything with the word "fish" in it.
Best answer chosen ASAP.

Reply:aqua flakes
they could be made for eating with water instead of milk, made for lactose intolerants
Reply:Aqua Frosted Honey Bunches of Cocoa Krispy Charms with Bran
Reply:Speed-Os

Naming the feature space in my museum?
It's for my final project, designing a fashion museum. On a certain storey, we have to create a feature space where visitors will gather and see the exhibits or shows or events. My feature space has a small exhibition space, a mezzanine floor where drinks are serve and this floor overlooks a fashion runway show. Beside these spaces, its a theme restaurant. Any suggestion on what to name the feature space?
Naming the feature space in my museum?
Robert Tonner's Hideaway. Put fashion dolls in glass cases all along the walls.
Reply:hot space
Reply:I would base it on the theme of the restaurant.
If you sell Italian food you could name your mezzanine after the Piazzas in Italy. Doesn't that name imply meeting place as well as adding an Italian aura.
Have a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year friend,
Michael %26lt;%26gt;%26lt;
Reply:After the theme of the show - Fashion through the Ages.
Eat and Drink your way through History
Authentic Historical Food.
Actually I don't think it is a great idea to have people eating and drinking above the Cat walk - especially if they have their 2 year old with them who likes to throw food around!

How do companies use naming to sell their product?
Having a strong brand name decreases risk that consumers feel when purchasing a product (take a customer buying a car, he or she want a reliable one that will last for years, if there are two similar cars, same price and stuff, the customer is more likely to purchase the one with a stronger brand name, they feel that there is less risk associated with it),consumer can notice it more easier,
hope thats what your looking for?
How do companies use naming to sell their product?
i think they do reserch like questionaires or polls to determine what they are going to call the product in the region...like ding dongs are called king don's and a few other names. It all depends on the area where it is sold.

How come in naming OCDD no numbers are used to specify the positions but 2,3,7,8 -TCDD does?
in OCDD all of the available eight positions are filled (Octa Chlorinated DD) - no need to say 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 - OCDD.
in TCDD only four of the eight available positions are filled, so their positions would be named.
(TC stands for Tetra Chlorinated meaning Four Chlorinated)
