Social conservative means they are conservative when it comes to social issues (anti-liberal, anti-socialism, anti-gay rights, anti-abortion). This puts them a lot closer to fascism and a long way from socialism.
What do you think of many christians unknowinglyadopting socialism and naming themselves Social Conservatives?

Reply:Ignorant people? But in reality most evangelicals are social conservatives (against abortion and gay rights) but big government liberals. They are everything a fiscal conservative like me detests.
Reply:With the size of the population, we have to have a mixture of social programs along with a democratic, capitalistic agenda. Otherwise, we would just be cut between rich and very poor living and dying in the streets. Life would be miserable for everyone because crime would be rampant. Most people using social programs fare better in a few years. The statistics remain the same but there are different people making up the statistics.

Reply:The devil has deceived christians into thinking money is good. You have many christians driving around in big fancy cars and living in big houses but say they worship God. When its money that controls them.
