Reply:nothing better than steak and kidney pudding with chips and peas, yorkshire pudding is nice with sugar or syrup actually, that is how my gran used to serve it as a desert. Black pudding, my husband loves it boiled i can eat it fried, but not boiled. Well lets face it hot cross buns, the mental picture of that, however the americans have hot dogs, so perhaps we are not all that crazy at all.

Reply:Yeah, I don't think it's the names that are the problem. It's the content. Look at the Scots...I mean you can call something an inconspicuous name like "haggis" but it is still oatmeal boiled inside a sheep stomach.

in America we have "frog legs" which is literally frog legs. We also have a cake called "better than sex", which is clearly, absurd in itself.
