Congress has always been supporting minority groups in India,its their main vote bank.Religious fundamentalists come from Pakistan or Bangladesh,also i believe their are groups within India that recruit young men to join their terrorist outfits.


The Congress which is a National Party will in no way be associated with a Muslim Terrorist organization,its bad publicity !!
Reply:I agree that the minority vote bank approach is misused by extremist elements in the respective communities to exploit the situation to further their parochial - nay distructive - interests..





The Congress is afraid to hang Mr Afzal because a section of minorities and their sympathisers claim that he is innocent while the apex court had found abundant material to confirm his criminal act.. And our judiciary is known to be far from any partial or parochial view..





So your fear that the minority appeasement leads to laxity in dealing with terror outfits and de facto puts the respected muslim community in poor view.. is unfortunately true..





It is the congress that communalises terror - as the BJP leaders say - while the average patriotic muslim or xian is never in sympathy with proven terrorists just becos they carry their religious lable..





But the congress does play that risky game at the cost of security of the country..





The laxity in the investigation of the terror acts in various parts like Delhi Ahmedabad Bangaluru etc is due to irresponsible people in Congress led UPA ministry, like Laluji, saying that SIMI had no role to play in the terror - even while the police were rushing to courts to continue the ban on SIMI based on their info!!





How can a responsible cabinet minister say such things while the investigation is going on..? That evidently resulted in the slump of investigations and we see the repeat of terror in greater severity now..





But people like Joseph (above) seem more inclined to defend the congress than alert them, as responsible citizens should.. Politicians are politicians and we should put them in that postion and criticise fairly and boldly to make them act..





And Ranga, you seem to be very excited.. try to be more tempered in your comments.. May be your idea to target terror centres would be actually in consideration, as the problem is going on unabated with greater intensity..
