Is naming your child with 2 middle names wierd?

I want to name mine and my boyfriends children with two middle names. If we had a girl it would Adania May Lovell (named after my great grandmother and grandmother). If we had a boy it would be Ryan Henry Cooper(named after my grandfather). but my boyfriend thinks this is weird and just because no one where we live has 2 middle names.

It's not weird at all. It's just a lot less common than one middle name. Lots of people I know have two middle names though. My younger sister does %26amp; she likes it. It's your baby so if you %26amp; your boyfriend agree to giving your children two middle names then go for it.

Both of my sons have 2 middle names....it started when I had my daughter and gave her a hyphenatedlast name (her father and I were not married) so when I did eventually get married to another man, I did not want my daughter to feel like the odd one because she had 4 names and her siblings have 3...so my husband and I decided to give our children 2 middle names... And no joke, I LOVE my cchildren'snames, my middle cchild'smiddle name is "Percy-Elroy" ,and yes, I do understand that he may be teased on the playground, so we gave his little brother 2 middle names equally as bad, Gene-Francis (all of the kids middle names have a ssignificancein the family). It made them unique, and I love them, and would never change it!
Reply:It is absolutely not weird. I plan on naming my children with 2 middle names each. It is unique and it lets the person show their creativity. So, feel completely free to name your kids with 2 middle names!!!!





P.S. I have 2 middle names and I am incredibly happy to have 2 middle names.
Reply:Nope, not really. Just uncommon. But sometimes really cool. My neighbor down the street gave both of her daughters two middle names (and the one is named Meg, just Meg - not short for anything :) ) so it depends on whatever you want!
Reply:It's not weird. In many parts of the world it's the norm. Heck, I have two middles names and I was friends with a boy from Ireland named Sean Michael Patrick %26lt;last name%26gt;. All of my kids are looking at having 2 middle names as well.
Reply:I think its great... Legally you might have to hyphen things or pick one of the names to be the legal middle name... BUt otherwise it think it;s great and pays tribute to your family

Reply:It's not weird, and it's perfectly normal. If no one where you live does that, then you'll be unique and be the first. More than 2 or 3 middle names is a little excessive though.
Reply:I have two middle names ! No big deal, all these people who say ''the child will find it hard remember their name?'' I don't get that !





As a child remembered my name just fine !

Reply:It's not weird. My youngest brother has two middle names...to honor both of his grandfathers. He has no objection to it, and I've never met anyone that had a problem with it.
