What are the file extensions I should not use when naming a file?
Usually file extensions is not your job to choose. Extensions are being set by the program that created the file. For example doc is the extension for MS Word files, exe is the extension of executables...

If you want to create your own file (or filetype) you should first check at http://www.file-extensions.org/ to see what extensions are used by what programs, and make your choice...
Reply:Don't - let the application use its own default file type unless you want to open it in a different application than it depends what you want to do with it
Reply:well you dont really have a choice when it comes to file extentions, it depends what type of file your saving/naming. Like you cant add a .doc extension to a jpeg and vice versa etc...
Reply:Do not use .docx because these cannot be opened on every computer when sent through email or transfered via USB data key.
Reply:U can use ne extension u want ... e1 imaginary once.

But u cant use any names for folders

eg. u canNOT create a FOLDER named "CON"
