Plz give me 8 good names in a specific theme for meeting rooms
Can any of you give me 8 good names in a particular theme for naming meeting rooms in my office?
- You could use 8 major street names in your city
for the names.
- You could use the Brady Bunch characters.
- You could use 8 of your companies corporate
values as names.
- You could have an event where you raise funds,
and the last names of the top contributors could
be the names of the rooms.
- Last names of famous people who pioneered in
your businesses field could be a nice homage to
your line of business.
Hope if nothing else, one of these helps you think of something!! Good Luck!!
Reply:You could use past Presidents, re: Roosevelt Room etc..
You can use trees, stars, anything you like!
Reply:name them after flowers.. such as "the magnolia room", "the iris room", " the violet room" etc
Then you can also use these types to help you decorate.
Reply:choose a theme eg. pleasant names like names of flowers/ colours/values or alphabetically such as amber, bluebell, cyan etc
Reply:Red
blue
green
yellow
white
black
purple
orange
theme=colours
lol xx
Reply:Shapes i.e circle, rectangle, oblong.
Colours i.e. Fuscia, colbalt, or just plain red and blue
Traits i.e Truth, faith, hope...could be tricky to go to a meeting in the truth boardroom though. What sort of business is it?
Flowers i.e Rose, Lilac, Tulip, Honeysuckle...or not honeysuckle thats not very professional.
Names of staff...hold a compitition and draw it out of a hat, or staff bid to have either name on a boardroom.
Or just random names...Sofia Boardroom, Raquel, unusual names.
I heard that the new offices of the Public Investment Corp in south africa have named their offices after scenes and locations where the africans struggled for freedom...i.e Maputo, Luanda, Dar es Salaam, Gugulethu, Mitchells Plein and Soweto. Maybe you could name them after something relevant to your company, a hurdle that you achieved or something. Important historical buildings or cities
Names of locations particularly appealing i.e Bahama's, Fiji, Bali, etc
Directions...north, northwest etc...pretty generic
thats about all I can think of, hope I helped! I liked the wood/tree idea someone else came up with too!
Reply:What does your business do? Then think of 8 good names.
What about asking your employees / coworkers to think of the names, and the winner gets money or a lunch?
Reply:You could have them named after the new 7 wonders of the world...and the 8th one could be named after the most famous monument of your country
Reply:Ash, Maple, Oak, Walnut, Pine, Cherry, Bamboo, Russian Olive (or other tree names)
Reply:Uh, don't know. How about Snow White and the 7 dwarfs...? ;-)
