I am going to train a cow i need help naming it training it andd getting to know it.?

It is a black cow it is half a baby and half a cow.i feel like naming flicka but do you have any other suggestions?

you can get an animal husbandry book. its better than what you'll find on here and iot will explain more. ther is too much to explain on here. you can get one at a library. i think flickas more of a horse name. i would name it oreo or rocky road. if you don't want food names you could do splotches.

You certainly don't sound old enough. First of all you can't "train" a cow. A young cow is not called a baby, it's called a calf, and it can't be 1/2 calf and 1/2 cow. It's a calf until it goes into heat the first time, and then it's considered a cow. Flicka is a fine name. Now go play with your cow .
Reply:We always chose odd names for our "calves" growing up. I had a heifer named Peanut once that was really cute until she grew into a truly obese cow.... Some of the old Quaker names are good for cows
