Is a Lease Naming 3 People Valid if Only the Owner and 2 People Sign ?

If you have a lease that names 3 people, is it valid if 2 of the people sign (as well as the landlord)?

Is a Lease Naming 3 People Valid if Only the Owner and 2 People Sign ?
The lease would only be valid for the two who have signed the lease. Without the third signature, that person would not be bound by the lease.
Reply:Is it 3 adults signing separately as unrelated individuals (roommates)? Or is it husband, wife %26amp; child? Or? Often one of the couple sign a lease for both of them. And with a child, of course, they must be named in the lease since they live there, but they cannot sign.

If it is 3 unrelated adults, all 3 have to sign. The one which does not is not liable unless they agreed with the other 2 roommates that they would split the rent, then they are liable to the 2 roommates, not the landlord.
