Why is everybody naming their babies Ava Marie?

I noticed this too! I think there was a mommy meeting I missed sometime where everyone decided they'd just go witht the same name.





Plus where I am from, everyone is naming their son Noah. Or jaden. Or Aiden. Whats with that?

Why is everybody naming their babies Ava Marie?
Because Ava is on the top 10 baby girls list, and Marie has always been one of the most common middle names.

I'm less taken aback by that and more suprised at the fact that the top 20 list includes


Jayden


Cayden


Brayden


and Aiden





Can't people name their kids something else?
Reply:My daughter's name is Ava Marie. I loved the name Ava, so I went with that. Marie is my middle name and the two names went together well so I used my middle name.


I didn't go for a "trendy" or "popular" name. When I named my daughter Ava 18 months ago I did not know it was going to be a popular name. It is just a name that I have always loved.
Reply:my friend named her 4 month old avah marie, for variety i expect, as its pronounced ava.
Reply:never heard it really-- i was going to name my son jaiden but then i realized everyone in the darn world was naming their kid jaiden or kaden or braden or aiden. so my son's name is Cohen
